Laser-Cut Shadow Lamps Shine by Design

By day, they are expertly created carvings with enamoring point of interest and a rich wood composition. During the evening, they cast complicated shadows of trees and geometric shapes onto the encompassing dividers.

These complicatedly point by point lights were made by Pranaya Outline, a group of two who planned both the lights and the laser-slicing innovation to create them. Situated in the Czech Republic, the group comprises of Josipa, who is in charge of the thoughts and outline, and Jirka, whose information of laser building and working breathed life into the undertaking.

It took the pair a while to locate the right parts and amass the laser-cutting machine, and to locate the right light source to cast such an extraordinary complexity against the dividers.

"Pranaya" is a word they made that speaks to the Tree of Life. It's a blend of three Slavic words — prav, nav and yav — speaking to the leaves, roots and trunk of a tree. The Tree of Life likewise is symbolized in the organization's logo and outli.

The lights are made digitally and sent to the machine to be laser cut. They are then recolored, stuck and varnished by hand. They are accessible in two arrangement, one with a Tree of Life subject and one highlighting geometric plans and images.
